Current Initiatives

The ED focus group is currently working on:

  • Active networking via the ptined listserv. This listserv is temporarily closed. Please stay tuned for further information on when this listserv will be back up and running.
  • APTA has multiple resources for therapists working in the ED. Thank you to the many ED Focus Group members who were instrumental in creating the ED Toolkit and multiple ED-related podcasts.

Please join the ED focus group and sign up for the listserv to get into contact with members working to potentially form an ED Special Interest Group, network with other therapists in this practice setting, and help developing the focus group's projects, goals and directions.

Future Education & Plans

The ED focus group wants to know what information, education, and collaboration members are interested in. Please use the ptined listserv to share what you need to deliver the highest quality, evidence based care to your patients in the emergency department or urgent care settings.
